Our client, a well-established energy services company, is seeking an HVAC Technician to join their Service Department team serving residential and commercial customers throughout Eastern Connecticut and Western Rhode Island.

As an HVAC Technician, you ll play a key role in helping customers maintain comfortable, safe, and efficient heating and cooling systems. You ll perform installations, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of residential HVAC equipment while building strong customer relationships and supporting the company s commitment to reliable service. This position offers the opportunity to work independently in the field while collaborating with a skilled and supportive team.
Responsibilities include:
- Install, service, maintain, and repair gas, oil, air conditioning, heat pump, and related HVAC systems
- Diagnose equipment issues and perform effective repairs in a timely manner
- Conduct preventative maintenance and system inspections
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding service recommendations and system performance
- Follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions accurately
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Work independently in the field while collaborating with team members as needed
- Deliver exceptional customer service during every interaction
Requirements and
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of residential HVAC experience
- Connecticut S or B License required
- Prior experience diagnosing and repairing gas, oil, and heat pump systems
- Experience doing both installation and service/repair is preferred
- Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record in accordance with company insurance requirements
- Ability to work 7:30 am to about 4 pm, with rotating on-call and expected overtime hours
- Self-motivated with excellent initiative and problem-solving abilities
- Dependable, team-oriented, and customer-focused attitude
- Professional and courteous demeanor
