OverviewUnder minimal supervision, within documented operational procedures, maintain facility cGMP mechanical equipment. Lead complex mechanical repairs, perform instrument calibrations, and lock out tag outs supporting facility project upgrades or routine maintenance. Initiate, complete and close on-demand and scheduled work orders. Participate in training other technicians on new equipment and upgrades. Assist Operational Staff with problem solving and equipment troubleshooting. Be committed to continually improving skills through participation in educational opportunities to increase knowledge base.
May be asked to work on a flexible schedule to meet department needs in the facility when required.
- Lead complex mechanical repairs and instrument calibrations.
- Support facility upgrades and routine maintenance through on-demand and scheduled work orders.
- Perform lock out tag out procedures as required.
- Train and mentor other technicians on new equipment and upgrades.
- Collaborate with Operational Staff to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Participate in department and safety meetings; pursue ongoing learning opportunities.
- High School Diploma with 2+ years of experience in equipment, electrical and/or instrumentation maintenance.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to support others within a matrix development team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Associate degree (Science or technical discipline).
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to perform hands-on manual labor.
- Experience with Delta V Production Control System.
- Experience in a Pharmaceutical cGMP manufacturing environment.
- Calibrations in compliance with site policies and procedures, traceable to NIST standards.
- Preventive and predictive maintenance on production and utility equipment.
- Install, specify, and calibrate process instrumentation and laboratory devices.
- Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation and automation systems.
- Read and interpret equipment schematics, logic diagrams, and engineering drawings.
- Use calibration tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain accurate documentation of calibration and maintenance activities.
Able to lift more than 50 lbs, amenable to wearing personal protective equipment and working near hazardous materials.
Other Job Details- Pay Rate Range:
Min $29, Max $33 USD per hour
Currency: USD, Unit: hourly

This contract is engaged through Atrium as a temporary employee on assignment individual selected will be offered employment through Atrium; compensation and benefits are provided by Atrium. Overtime eligibility is as per federal and state requirements.
