Remove, repair, overhaul, install, align and test mechanical and hydraulic systems on ships and submarines;
Repair and overhaul ship mechanical and hydraulic components such as diesel engines, hatches, valves, pumps;
Work in accordance with SUBSAFE requirements and NAVSEA Submarine Safety Requirements Manual;
Read and interpret technical manuals and drawings;
Possess ability to troubleshoot marine engines, motors, pumps, and hydraulics in a shipyard or marine repair environment
