Independent Living Skills Trainer (ILST)
Groton, CT | $20/hr | Full-Time & Part-Time | Flexible Day & Evening Shifts
Make a Difference—One Person at a Time:Join Project Genesis, Inc. and help individuals with acquired brain injuries rebuild independence, confidence, and everyday life skills.
What You’ll Do:- Work one‑on‑one with clients in their homes and community.
- Support daily living skills (cooking, budgeting, routines, communication).
- Provide non‑medical care, supervision, and encouragement.
- Help clients reach personal goals and celebrate progress.
- 18+ with high school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred).
- ABI experience:
- 2 years (HS diploma) OR 1 year (Bachelor’s).
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and insurance.
- Starting pay: $20/hr.
- Paid training + mileage reimbursement.
