Duties include the operation of a wide variety of equipment including forklifts, stake trucks, van, pallet jack, walker stacker and box type trucks. The role involves pick‑up, delivery and moving large diverse loads within the shipyard and South Yard Assembly Building.

Work in unheated environments, handle Sensitive Material, ensure procedural compliance and qualify for a TLD (training provided). Requires a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B or equivalent with air‑brake endorsement. Bus and/or hazmat endorsement desirable.

Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 2 years forklift experience
• Ability to work all shifts based on business needs
• Clean, safe driving record
• Ability to obtain drug/alcohol testing
• Ability to work any shift

Preferred:

• Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Class B or equivalent
• Air brake endorsement
• Bus and/or Hazmat endorsement on CDL
• Ability to obtain a TLD with training
• Forklift Certification

• Clean safe driving record
• Work well within a team environment
• Responsible and able to work independently
