We’re partnering with a rapidly growing, private equity-backed organization to identify a Senior Accountant who will play a key role in supporting a multi-entity accounting environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across multiple entities.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and financial adjustments.
  • Maintain ownership of balance sheet accounts and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner.
  • Assist with preparation of financial statements and management reporting packages.
  • Perform variance analysis and investigate unexpected financial results.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company accounting policies.
  • Support external audits, tax reporting, and compliance requirements.
  • Participate in project accounting activities, including job costing, contract billing, WIP reporting, and profitability analysis.
  • Partner with operational teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition and project cost reporting.
  • Manage fixed asset accounting, including additions, disposals, transfers, depreciation, and reconciliations.
  • Support accounting for equipment financing, leases, capital expenditures, and asset sales.
  • Assist with acquisition accounting, financial due diligence support, integration activities, and systems implementations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, strengthen controls, and improve reporting accuracy.
  • Mentor junior accounting staff and serve as a resource for accounting and operational teams.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
  • Experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, journal entries, and balance sheet management.
  • Experience with in construction, infrastructure, industrial services, manufacturing, field services, or other project-based industries preferred.
  • Knowledge of job cost accounting, contract billing, and work-in-progress (WIP) reporting preferred.
  • Experience with fixed asset accounting and capital expenditure management preferred.
  • Multi-entity accounting experience preferred.
  • Exposure to acquisitions, integrations, ERP implementations, or private equity-backed environments is a plus.
  • CPA designation or progress toward certification preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong ERP systems experience.
Compensation
  • Base Salary: $90,000-$110,000
