Overview
Join our Team as an Automotive Mechanic Technician II. This position offers a $1,500 New Hire Tool Bonus and a $1,000 Signing Bonus.
Work Schedule:
4 days, 10-hour shift (Sunday-Wednesday). At Manheim (a Cox Automotive company), we’re hiring an Auto Maintenance Tech II.

You'll perform mid-level auto technician duties and medium-duty work.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide highly skilled maintenance and repairs for all vehicles
- Perform diagnostics including brakes, tires, suspension components, drivability, and complete repairs
- Perform advanced diagnostics including charging, starting, AC, OBDII, drivability, electrical systems and complete repairs
- Complete mechanical inspections including required measurements and documentation of deficiencies
- Comply with procedures and regulations regarding recyclables, fluids, tires and waste disposal
- May up-fit new vehicles with necessary equipment
- Utilize approved vendors to obtain parts
- May be required to perform OEM recalls
You’ve laid your foundation of skills and want to continue learning and advancing. You’re a born team player who motivates teammates. The following qualifications apply:
Required:
- 3+ years of vehicle service and repair experience
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles
Preferred:
- High school diploma or GED
Compensation:
Hourly base pay rate is $22.02 - $33.08/hour. The base rate may vary based on location and candidate qualifications. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commissions and/or incentive programs.
Benefits summary includes a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off per month and seven paid holidays per year, with additional leave options such as bereavement, voting, jury duty, volunteer time, military, and parental leave.
