What You Will DoYou will analyze, review and process warranty claims. Develop a liaison between Horton staff, suppliers, and Original Equipment Manufacturer(s) (OEM). You will be proactive and work independently to meet business expectations
This role reports to Horton's Quality Department Manager.
How You Will Do It- Review and adjudicate incoming warranty claims utilizing warranty software
- Work closely with finance department to verify accuracy of warranty charges, warranty claim data, vehicle registration and other related information.
- Responsible for overall warranty operations that ensures timely processing of all warranty claims to meet suppliers and OEM guidelines and expectations.
- Create customer warranty reports including warranty trend summaries and operations input on continuous improvement actions.
- Handle all National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) recalls from supplier to end user.
- You will be involved in cross functional operations teams to identify and develop mitigation strategies to proactively improve ongoing warranty performance.
- Maintain a record of all claims submitted, returned, rejected, or paid and their status.
- Coordinate Quality Alert and Quality Verification processes with management.
- Contact vendors when necessary to arrange Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) for labor credit and defective parts return.
- Process shipping of warranty replacement parts to dealers and repair facilities and ensures delivery of parts in a timely manner.

What We Look For- Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline, Business Administration, or equivalent experience or t two (2) or more years' experience in Project Management, Product Management, Quality, Warranty, and/or Engineering or other related business experience
- Associate degree in Technology or 2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing/parts sales environment (preferred), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must demonstrate the highest ethical and dedicated work standards, delivering results with a sense of ownership and urgency within a cooperative team‑based environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite:
Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
- Must be a hands‑on, organized individual with strong analytical (including Excel, and other spreadsheet programs) design capabilities, and have a passion for developing strategic initiatives based on market‑based business case analysis
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and oral/written communication skills are essential. Also important is the ability to manage multiple and competing priorities.
- In this role you must develop a clear understanding of internal warranty policies and external suppliers warranty policies.
- Ability to work independently, with minimal or no supervision
