Advance CNC Machining is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager who can lead the engineering team, solve problems, improve how the shop works, and keep projects moving forward. This is a chance to take ownership of a critical leadership role at a fast-growing, AS9100-certified aerospace and defense machining company - guiding a team of mechanical engineers who create custom deliverables for demanding customers.

• Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing team of mechanical engineers
• Lead performance management, including goal setting, feedback, and professional growth planning
• Optimize engineering workflows to increase throughput, reduce waste, and streamline handoffs with production teams
• Troubleshoot design issues with an analytical, solutions-oriented approach
• Own the Engineering group's performance indicators and budget

• 10+ years of combined experience in design engineering
• Deep understanding of machining and related manufacturing processes
• Experience leading and mentoring direct reports, including excellent communication and the ability to hold others accountable
• Strong analytical skills for diagnosing design or production challenges
• Ability to guide engineers through concept development, 3D modeling, prints, tolerances, and manufacturability reviews
• A mindset focused on efficiency, quality improvement, and cost savings
• Demonstrated Solid Works experience and fluency

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field

• Up to $130,000/year, depending on experience
