Must work at a specified Cox location. No remote option.

Hourly base pay range: $16.59 - $24.86 per hour. May include commission and incentive programs.

Tuesday (8am-5pm), Wednesday (9am-5pm). Additional hours may be required based on business needs.

• Process and re-assign titles for vehicles sold by auction.
• Examine vehicle titles for accuracy and conformity to specified requirements.
• Verify acceptance of the title in the state for which it is filed.
• Confirm accurate title VIN number, odometer reading, releases of liens and verify titles contain no alteration.
• Determine negotiability of title documents and assess for potential fraud.
• Report discrepancies and resolve titling issues through interaction with customers, dealers, and regulatory agencies.
• Work with manager/supervisor to negotiate price adjustment between buyer and seller for a title problem, if necessary.
• Maintain knowledge of current DMV laws and regulations relating to vehicle titles.
• Receive and route telephone calls courteously and efficiently to appropriate personnel.
• Process sale day transactions using AS400 and provide customer service.
• Run and review outstanding title reports; contact sellers regarding outstanding titles.
• Issue gate passes for no-sale vehicles and purchases.
• Assist with sale day balancing activities.
• Run 15-day outstanding title report for consignment vehicles sold without title; match invoices and contact sellers for title.
• Notate title status in system.
• Assist with title and check audits.
• Demonstrate safety commitment by following safety and health procedures.
• Participate in safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Less than 2 years of experience generally.
• Effective communication skills.
• Good problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Basic computer software skills.
• Vision abilities: close, distance and depth perception.
• Preferred:
  Notary seals and stamps.

Office setting.
