Controller; Manufacturing

Grove City, OH

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Controller to lead all accounting functions for our manufacturing client in Grove City, OH. This role is a key leadership position, responsible for shaping financial strategy, strengthening internal controls, and ensuring the long-term financial health of the company.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or equivalent relevant experience)
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (Quick Books highly preferred)
• Strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate financial opportunities and challenges
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and ethical judgment

• Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cost accounting
• Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Lead month-end and year-end closings; collaborate with CPA on audits and financial filings
• Prepare and submit all tax forms and payments accurately and on time
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
• Monitor spending and ensure operations remain within budget while anticipating future financial needs
• Analyze financial data and provide actionable recommendations to support decision-making
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of accounting associates
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
• Provide leadership with timely financial reports, dashboards, and strategic insights
• Perform other duties as assigned
