Initiate dialysis treatment according to prescribed orders including blood flow and dialysate flow and monitor parameters;
Evaluate vascular access patency, perform cannulation, manage intradialytic problems, and document vital signs and UF goals;
Monitor patient response to dialysis, document treatment data, and report changes to RN or supervisor;
Maintain infection control practices, disinfect equipment, and prepare lab specimens;
Assist in training direct patient care staff and coordinate patient education and transitional care activities
