General Function
We are seeking a proactive and independent IT Supply Chain Systems Analyst to support our Columbus Distribution Center. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring seamless integration performance of PKMS and WCS systems, driving operational efficiency, supporting automation initiatives, and ensuring continuity of operations in a fast‑paced logistics environment.
Major Duties and Responsibilities- Provide first‑level support and ensure business continuity for PKMS and WCS systems within the distribution center.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify system optimization opportunities and implement automation projects.
- Lead and support local engineering initiatives related to PKMS systems logistics automation.
- Drive continuous improvement by analyzing recurring issues, troubleshooting root causes, and proposing enhancements to both systems and operational processes.
- Develop detailed functional documentation and process flows to support system enhancements and new implementations.
- Facilitate collaboration between business stakeholders and technical teams to define solutions and drive successful outcomes.
- Guide business teams through User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring solutions meet operational needs.
- Act as a liaison between IT and operations to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all technical PKMS system aspects of processes related to logistics distribution, warehouse operations, transportation and automation. Act as the reference person for logistic operations.
- Support IT related topics such as IP Address-WMS IT issues.
- Provide analytical and system support for development and implementation.
- Regularly analyze data to ensure that KPIs are met and develop and lead new processes.
- Develop quantitative analysis, operational and customer solutions through collaboration with internal and external organizations. Use analytical reports to influence senior leadership and facilitate changes.
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 7+ years of Information Systems/Business experience.
- Experience with ERP (Oracle/SAP), PKMS, Manh iSeries LM and WCS in a logistics environment.
- Strong analytical skills (SQL, DB management).
- Experience with databases and ability to create, execute, and understand SQL queries.
- Critical thinking to identify opportunities with existing and new business processes.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and processes.
- Strong voice of reason and ability to challenge the status quo.
- Experience with collecting requirements and implementation details.
- Experience writing business requirements, functional specifications, wireframes, visual designs, and testing.
- Clear and practical understanding and experience integrating technical services.
- 4 years of PKMS functional experience on AS400.
- Oracle ERP integration experience.
- WMS environment integrated with WCS logistic automation.
- Experience utilizing requirements, best practices, and standards in the fashion industry.
