We provide tailored support and integrated programming to help people achieve their personal goals, whether it’s finding meaningful employment, building relationships, or developing new skills.

Location: 3705 Marlane Dr. Grove City, OH 43123

Schedule: This position averages 20 hours per week. Part‑time hours are worked Monday through Friday, on a split shift from 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. to accommodate daily arrival and departure schedules.

Hourly Wage: $18.00 per hour

What You’ll Do and Why it Matters
  • Safe & Dependable Transportation: Operate a wheelchair‑accessible shuttle vehicle to safely transport individuals to and from ARC Voyagers’ facilities and programs.
  • Creating Positive Experiences: Provide a welcoming, respectful, and supportive environment for every passenger during each trip.
  • Supporting Independence: Help individuals access programs and services, playing a direct role in supporting their independence and quality of life.
  • Safety First: Follow traffic laws, complete vehicle inspections, and ensure passengers and adaptive equipment are properly secured.
  • Hands‑On Assistance: Assist passengers with boarding, off‑boarding, and wheelchair accessibility equipment as needed.
  • Keeping Things Running Smoothly: Complete route attendance, communicate transportation concerns, and document incidents or maintenance needs when necessary.
  • Staying Active & Engaged: This role is active and requires constant movement and interaction.
What Makes You a Great Fit
  • 21+ with a high‑school diploma (or equivalent).
  • Ability to lift, bend, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
    .
  • Friendly, patient, dependable with strong communication skills.
  • Committed to providing safe, respectful and reliable transportation.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing daily routes efficiently.
  • Ability to assist passengers and operate wheelchair‑accessible equipment safely.
  • Previous experience driving passengers or accessible vehicles is a plus.
  • Positive, professional, and driven to make a difference.
Requirements
  • Must submit to a BCII/FBI background check and Nurses Aid & Abuser Registry checks.
  • Maintain American Red Cross or equivalent first aid and CPR certification.
  • Valid State of Ohio Driver’s License and insurability standards.
  • Complete eight hours of training as required by the Ohio Department of Development upon hire.
  • Must pass a driver physical and drug screen.
  • Must be able to operate a wheel‑chair accessible shuttle vehicle safely and efficiently.
