The Welder is responsible for interpreting blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts. We will have to be able to weld small and large components. Maintenance Welders perform welding in the repair, maintenance, fabrication, and modification of industrial equipment and establishments. They also diagnose and repair a variety of metalwork.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Reading and understanding blueprints before starting a project
  • Sourcing the materials to be used in the project
  • Measuring and cutting materials to specifications
  • Welding materials using the correct materials to join the metals together
  • Checking finished work to ensure it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints.
  • Focused on resources and goals of the AN team
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to use, repair, and maintain machines and tools.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of welding techniques (STICK preferred)
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Regular attendance and being on time are a must.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Welding experience in a related industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of product specifications and production standards
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Problem Solving Skills.
  • Strong Attention to Details.
  • Multitasking and Time Management Skills
Working conditions
  • Work Hours:
    • Standard shifts: 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week.
    • Overtime:
      Available and compensated according to labor laws.
    • Breaks: 30-minute lunch break and two 15-minute rest breaks per shift.
  • Safety Standards:
    • Mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including helmets, gloves, and safety goggles.
    • Regular safety drills, including fire and emergency evacuation procedures.
    • Clearly marked emergency exits and first aid stations.
  • Well-ventilated and adequately lit work spaces.
  • Working in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse can involve exposure to extreme temperatures
  • Designated smoking areas outside of the facility.

    • Comprehensive onboarding training for all new employees, covering safety, operational procedures, and equipment use.
    • Continuous training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
    • Regular safety training updates and refresher courses.
