Overview

Join our Maternal Fetal Medicine team as a Nurse Navigator. This salaried role provides specialized care for high‑risk pregnant patients with maternal conditions such as diabetes, hypertension and other complex needs.

Schedule
  • Monday - Friday; no weekends or holidays
  • Hours of operation: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Primary clinic locations:
    Riverside, Doctors, Grant, Dublin, and Pickerington
  • Day shift; 40 hours per week
Responsibilities
  • Perform non‑stress tests (NSTs) and support in‑office procedures.
  • Provide education and support to inpatients and outpatients.
  • Address healthcare disparities and barriers to care.
  • Facilitate communication across the continuum of care and coordinate resources, education, and advocacy.
  • Coordinate care with managing physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
  • Assess learning needs, provide education, assess learning achieved, and provide support and navigation to patients and families (75% of time).
  • Participate in quality control and assurance activities (10%).
  • Participate in process improvement activities (5%).
  • May participate in some aspects of clinical care (5%).
  • Other duties may vary by department such as program coordination and maintaining registries (5%).
  • Perform additional duties as requested by supervisor.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree (required).
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in Ohio (Ohio Board of Nursing) (required).
  • Minimum 3 years of RN experience.
  • BSN degree (required).
  • Highly desirable: EFM certification.
  • Experience with non‑stress test (NST) highly desirable.
  • Women’s Health experience (OB office and/or L&D preferred).
