Nurse Practitioner – Medical Oncology

Employment Type: Full time

Shift: Primary shift Day, Monday - Friday 8 a.m.

- 4:30 p.m., occasional coverage of other shifts.

The APRN will provide acute healthcare services for hematology and oncology patients, managing care across inpatient consults, outpatient clinic, and infusion center rounds.

• Provide patient care for hematology and oncology patients in inpatient, clinic, and infusion center settings.
• Coordinate and manage treatment plans, including chemotherapy administration.
• Collaborate with interprofessional teams to deliver comprehensive oncology care.
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and documentation standards.

• Master’s degree in Nursing or related field.
• Graduated from an Advanced Practice Nurse program.
• Current Ohio RN license and Advanced Practice Nurse certification (ANCC preferred).
• BLS provider certification required; ACLS, NRP, EFM, and PALs required for some departments.
• DEA license for controlled substances or ability to obtain one.
• Minimum 2–3 years of recent, relevant APP experience in oncology.
• Strong communication skills.
