** full-time, experienced Certified Nurse Midwife
** to join a busy practice located in Grove City, Ohio.

This position includes work in both the clinic and hospital and is primarily day shift with scheduled on-call hours. The Nurse Midwife will provide care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person’s physical, emotion, social and spiritual needs.

The Nurse Midwife, functioning in the spirit of teamwork, is accountable for:
* The delivery of advanced practice nursing care, in collaboration with the perinatologists, OB/GYN and Family Practice physicians, utilizing standards, protocols, policies, procedures, and guidelines of the organization.
* Providing primary care in an ambulatory setting to women including the ordering of diagnostic tests and management of minor complications
* Providing inpatient obstetrical care for essentially healthy women including labor management, delivery of infant, repair of lacerations/episiotomy and management of minor complications.
** Requirements:
**
* Education:

Masters required in Science, Nursing or specialty field. Graduate of Advanced Practitioner Program.
* Current License as RN in Ohio. Certified as Advance Practice Nurse Midwife. Holds current Certificate of Authority (COA) from the Ohio Board of Nursing.
* Hold current certificate to prescribe (CTP) or eligible for certificate to prescribe externship (CTP-E) from the Ohio Board of Nursing.
* BLS provider certification
* DEA license
* ** A minimum of 2-3 years of midwifery experience**.
