CMM Programmer– Custom Machine Shop

Salary: $90,000 DOE
We are seeking an expert-level CMM Programmer who’s enjoyable to work with, and that can thoughtfully bring the ownership, effectiveness and quality needed to help our growing $20 million company keep up with the rapidly rising demand.

What You’ll DoAs our skilled CMM Programmer, you’ll provide accurate programming and execution-while modeling the accountability, resourcefulness, and humility that define our culture.
Your responsibilities will include:- Develop andoptimizehigh‑quality CMM programs usingZEISS Calypso software(for aZEISSContura CMM 10/12/6 RDS with Vast XXT and aZEISSContura CMM 7/10/6 with Vast XT Gold)
- Proof CMM programs and make necessary adjustments
- Inspection planning, including ballooning drawings
- Interpret and analyze CMM reports, measurement results, and part specifications
- Support troubleshooting and validation activities to achieve FA qualifications quickly and efficiently
- Collaborate with Quality and Production teams to make and measure parts correctly the first time
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve accuracy, repeatability, and efficiency

We’re looking for a CMM Programmer with the aptitude, willingness, and proactivity to excel in a fast-paced and growing manufacturing environment.
The skills needed:- 3+ years ofhands‑on Calypso programming experience(required)
- Strong ability to read and interpretblueprints and GD&T
- Thorough understanding of dimensional metrology principles and applications
- Competitive programming times
- Excellent communication and problem‑solvingskillsCMM inspection experience with curve forms, maximum material condition, and advanced GD&T(preferred, not required)
- Familiarity with machining, especially4- and 5-axis milling (preferred, not required)
