Retail Sales Associate (Position )

Join First Cash as a full‑time retail sales associate at our pawn store locations nationwide. The role involves customer service, sales, and loan transactions, with opportunities to earn commission on top of a base hourly wage.

Hourly Pay
: $11.00 to $14.00 per hour + commission.

Commission
:
Earn up to 8% on transactions; additional commission beyond hourly rate.

• Best working hours: stores open 9 AM–6 PM; many closed on Sundays.

• Greets and interacts with customers to recommend financial solutions.
• Performs open/close procedures and keeps sales floor clean, stocked, and merchandised.
• Processes sales and loan transactions according to policies and regulations.
• Handles cash and negotiable items per procedures.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, showing respect.
• Collaborates with all employees to create a positive customer experience.
• Completes assigned training.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to perform extended periods of standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• May assist customers on exterior property.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work with customers and be team‑oriented.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficient basic math calculations.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Willing to work flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate; able to operate POS systems and common office machines.

Commission incentive plan is proprietary; potential to earn 2‑8% commission based on gross profit of personal performance. Detailed plan information provided during interview.

Pay rates will not be below local minimum wage requirements.
