Security Officer Patrol

As a Security Officer Full Time Day Patrol in Urbancrest, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access activities, and/or emergency response support at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and document security‑related observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking lots, trailer yards, warehouses, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries, verify authorized access, and report suspicious, damaged, and/or unsecured items or areas.
• Communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or public responders as needed regarding security‑related concerns, operational disruptions, and/or incidents at the location.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
