Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location;
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established site procedures;
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including exterior areas, parking areas, loading zones, trailer yards, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity;
Monitor access points for employees, visitors, and/or drivers, verify credentials when required, and report unusual activity, damaged equipment, and/or unsecured areas;
Support shipping and receiving area operations by observing site traffic patterns, helping to control access around docks and gates, and communicating with site contacts regarding security-related concerns
