Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Forklift Operator & Warehouse Associate to join our pillow manufacturing plant. In this role, you will support warehouse operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods, materials, and products within the facility. The ideal candidate will operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials, and perform warehouse tasks related to inventory management, product storage, and order fulfillment.

• Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to move raw materials, finished pillow products, and equipment within the warehouse.
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of products to prevent damage.
• Organize and stack products to ensure easy access and accurate inventory control.
• Perform pre-operational checks on forklifts and other equipment to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
• Maintain proper documentation related to materials moved, stock levels, and inventory adjustments.

• Assist with unloading, receiving, and storing raw materials for production.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, track product movement, and monitor stock levels.
• Assist with order picking and packing, ensuring products are ready for shipment to customers.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area to promote safety and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with the team to meet production goals, deadlines, and company standards.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members to address inventory or operational concerns.

• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring safe operation of equipment and adherence to company policies.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Participate in safety training sessions and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment.

Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior experience operating forklifts or in a warehouse environment is preferred. Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and equipment operation. Experience with inventory systems and order fulfillment is a plus.

Certifications: Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within a specified time).

Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods and lifting moderate to heavy loads. Work may be in a fast-paced environment with exposure to noise and machinery. Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and must be worn.
