In this essential role, you'll be the key link between the yard and warehouse—making sure trailers, containers, and shipments are in the right place at the right time.

What You'll Do as a Yard Jockey:

• Move containers and trailers in the yard and to loading docks
• Unload and upload materials as needed
• Pull containers from the yard and position at the door
• Perform pre-shift machinery inspections and identify damages
• Maintain accurate records of yard activity and trailer/container movements
• Ensure a clean driving record and report any defective trailers or containers
• Comply with all company safety policies and procedures
• Support warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience:

• A valid Class A CDL license
• A current DOT medical card
• A clean driving record
• Are dependable, safety-minded, and able to work independently
• Can work occasional Saturdays or extended hours as needed
• Are physically able to perform yard duties in a fast-paced environment
• Are detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate logs and inspections
