School Occupational Therapist - Groveport, Ohio

Make a positive impact as an Occupational Therapist supporting students during the  school year. In this contract role, you’ll work approximately 10 hours per week, providing essential services to help students build the skills they need to succeed academically and socially. Flexibility in scheduling is encouraged – let’s discuss which days work best for you and your preferences for grade levels.

• Valid Occupational Therapy license in Ohio
• Previous school-based OT experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP process and documentation
• Comfort working collaboratively with educators, families, and other therapists
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Adaptability and a student-centered approach

• Assess student needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver direct occupational therapy services within a school setting
• Document progress and prepare detailed reports per student and school requirements
• Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and caregivers to integrate OT support within classroom activities
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to best outcomes for each student
• Adjust therapy goals as needed for students from various grade levels
