Job Description & How to Apply Below

Bombas is a comfort focused premium basics brand with a mission to help those in need. The company launched in 2013 after the founders learned that socks are the #1 most requested clothing item at homeless shelters. Bombas donates a pair of socks for every pair sold, and has since expanded to underwear and t-shirts, the #2 and #3 most requested items, while continuing to impact communities.

The word Bombas is derived from the Latin word for bumblebees. Bees work together to make their hive a better place, and at Bombas we are inspired by that collective effort. We are committed to building a diverse, inclusive Hive where all voices are heard.

About the Job

We are looking for a highly analytical, hands‑on, and solutions‑oriented operator to join our Fulfillment team as our Senior Manager, Fulfillment Operations
, reporting to the Director of Fulfillment Operations. The role is based on‑site at our Groveport, Ohio distribution center and includes approximately one week of travel per month to a secondary West Coast warehouse. You will serve as Bombas’ dedicated on‑ground leader within our 3PL network, stabilizing, optimizing, and scaling our fulfillment operations to support growth and peak demand.

What you’ll be responsible for
  • Stabilize, standardize, and optimize operations at the Groveport 3PL for eCommerce, Wholesale, Retail, and Donation channels.
  • Drive best‑practice standardization across all Bombas DCs.
  • Facilitate short, medium, and long‑term activity and capacity planning across an omni‑channel environment.
  • Identify inefficient or fragmented processes with RCA and partner with 3PL management to develop improvement plans, including SOP creation and training.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for Ohio 3PL teams and liaise between 3PLs and internal teams (Operations, Transportation, Customer Service, Planning, Sourcing, FP&A).
  • Align warehouse storage capacity with inbound SKU counts and unit volume using forward‑looking forecasts across sales channels.
  • Support 3PL staff in optimizing SKU slotting, order waving, picking carts, pick paths, and efficient storage across pick and reserve locations.
  • Maintain and socialize order and unit forecasts, validate against 3PL capacity models, labor plans, and throughput assumptions, and oversee peak capacity planning.
  • Support fulfillment synergy between the Ohio warehouse and additional fulfillment centers, ensuring consistent SLAs, process standardization, and inventory visibility.
  • Validate wholesale order execution across key milestones—release to floor, VAS status, routing date, ship confirmation, and pickup—ensuring routing compliance and troubleshooting onsite issues.
  • Monitor and report on SLA compliance and operational KPIs, holding 3PLs accountable to contracted SLAs.
  • Prepare and lead daily/weekly meetings and QBRs across 3PL and Bombas Operations teams.
  • Use WMS, Net Suite, and business intelligence tools to report on fulfillment health and perform ad‑hoc analyses, standardizing KPIs, SLAs, and reporting across nodes.
  • Document and communicate product labeling non‑compliance to the Sourcing team to drive vendor guide compliance.
What we’ll love about you
  • Clear communicator and reliable internal and external partner.
  • Takes initiative, thinks critically, and owns outcomes.
  • Comfortable handling ambiguity and operating independently.
  • Naturally curious, detail‑oriented, and data‑driven.
  • A team player who is willing and happy to help.
  • Belief in our mission and understanding of the importance of giving‑back.
  • Inquisitive, loves to learn, embraces failure, and never gives up.
  • Comfortable working in an open office while staying focused.
