The primary purpose of this role is to preserve the natural ecological balance of aquatic ecosystems while providing clients with superior value and expertise. Aquatic Technicians play a key role in preserving the environment and ensuring the health of the water and safety of users.

• Operate a motorboat multiple times throughout the day and attach to assigned vehicle.
• Treat water for algae, submersed weeds, shoreline weeds, non‑desirable buffer vegetation and other unwanted vegetation.
• Obtain water samples for laboratory water quality analysis.
• Provide superior service and fulfil all company contracts, service orders and related customer needs.
• Remove nuisance and invasive vegetation through manual removal efforts when required.
• Work with experienced Aquatic Specialists to gain knowledge on water body management.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding service details.

• Follow established procedures and practices.
• Commit to health and safety guidelines.
• Effective verbal and listening communication skills.
• Attention to detail and high accuracy.
• Mechanically inclined – preferred.
• Ability to operate trailers and aquatic vessels – preferred.
• Knowledge of aquatic vegetation – preferred.
• Perform strenuous physical exertion, including driving, standing, walking, bending, climbing, kneeling, and crouching for extended periods.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of independent outdoor work experience – preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• Available to work Monday–Friday and weekends as needed.
• Valid driver's license from state of residence.

• Mostly outside with extreme heat above 100°F and/or cold below 32°F for more than one hour.
• Hazardous physical conditions such as mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical current, heights and scaffolding, chemical exposure, and high heat.
• Atmospheric conditions that may affect respiratory system and skin, such as fumes, mold, mist, gas, poor ventilation.
• Exposure to animals and insects.
• Meet physical requirements and pass medical certification in compliance with state and/or federal regulatory requirements and company safety policies relating to PPE.

Hourly: $18.00 – $27.00.

Pay may vary based on location, skills, education, and experience. Total earnings may be affected by overtime, incentives, commissions, performance, and route assignment.
