Overview

We are a mechanical contractor that does very large commercial projects. We are looking for a traveling Project Executive for our projects in Louisiana, Columbus OH, PA, and TN. Must be willing to temporarily relocate to a project for its duration. Must have a significant amount self-perform mechanical managerial experience for large projects (100M-600M) at an Executive level. Travel package includes housing, meals, utilities and flights home every other week.

We are currently seeking a Project Executive to join our team. This individual will provide high level project oversight, leadership to a project management team, set expectations and objectives, as well as all financial aspects of assigned responsibilities. This individual is responsible for overseeing all financial aspects, planning and talent development for team members. Develop client relationships that lead to future sales.

• Oversee all aspects of operations, project financials, leadership, and business development.
• Review contracts and negotiate terms to ensure optimal outcomes for the company.
• Manage project budgets.
• Collaborate with other professionals in the construction industry, including architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues that could impact project timelines or budgets.
• Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns they may have.
• Continually monitor the quality of work being carried out, taking corrective action as necessary.
• Foster a positive, safety-focused work environment, leading by example at all times.

• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in a similar role within the mechanical industry.
• Must be able to temporarily relocate to a project for its duration (2-3 years).
• Proven track record of successfully managing large self-perform mechanical commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems.
• 2 year technical degree or Journeyman level required; 4 year degree preferred.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong budget management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with a range of stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of construction management principles.
• Proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Data Center or healthcare project experience is a plus.
