About the Role:

Recycling Technician

As a Recycling Technician, you’ll be an essential part of our sustainability initiatives. You’ll help manage waste streams, support recycling programs, and keep our facility safe and environmentally responsible. This is hands‑on work with real impact!

What You’ll Do
  • Collect, sort, dispose of, and help ship recyclable, hazardous, and non‑hazardous materials
  • Operate recycling and material‑handling equipment, including forklifts, balers, compactors, drum haulers, and pallet jacks
  • Inspect and sort materials by type, size, condition, and grade
  • Maintain recycling and storage areas to meet GMP, OSHA, DOT, and EPA standards
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay up-to-date on recycling methods and regulations
  • Report gaps or issues to the Environmental Technician
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and always safety-focused
  • Jump in where needed—“other duties as assigned” is a team‑player mindset!
What We’re Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ year manufacturing experience (regulated/GMP environment preferred)
  • 1+ year of forklift experience
  • RCRA & Hazardous Waste Management Certification
  • DOT Hazardous Materials Management Certificate
  • Ability to adapt to rotating assignments and work with a sense of urgency
  • Strong communication skills across diverse teams
  • Understanding of GMPs & OSHA requirements
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic hand tools

Self-starter with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude
