Assists with the maintenance of the plant’s equipment, including preventive maintenance on machinery along with a variety of other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager. Successful candidate will assist department supervisor and facilities manager with special projects and overall direction of the department.

• Perform tasks as described and assigned by the department lead/supervisor.
• Open valves on equipment such as compressors, pumps, and condensers to prepare system for operation and start equipment and auxiliary machinery.
• Observe temperature, pressure, and ampere readings for the system and equipment and adjust controls or override automatic controls to obtain specified operation of equipment.
• Repacks pumps and compressors, cleans condensers, and replaces worn or defective parts.
• Work as a team player, ensuring product specifications are attained in a safe and efficient manner.
• Communicate well with other team members.
• Assist other departments as assigned by lead, supervisor or manager.
• Follow Company’s GMPs, SOPs, plant rules, other policies and codes of conduct.
• Follow written and oral instructions.
• Strive to satisfy the requirements of both internal and external customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must work in cold, damp environment.
• Basic oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand, reach, stoop, kneel or crouch.
• Ability to lift and move 50‑75 pounds (with assistance when required).
