JOB SUMMARY:

The Offset Printing Press Operator role is responsible for safely operating and maintaining an Offset Printing Press to efficiently and effectively manufacture folding cartons.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

Job functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Machine setup, adjustments and make readies
• Troubleshooting of machine and quality issues
• Assist with maintenance, machine setups, etc.
• Completion of required product and process audits
• Exchange of information with shifts prior to/following work shift
• Adherence to quality specifications
• Identification of product/process enhancements to improve efficiencies, reduce downtime & spoilage
• Production schedule output and time frames
• Effectively leading work crew to meet production goals
• Attend team meetings
• Must be able to differentiate colors
• Train new team members to ensure job duties are performed efficiently and effectively
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Enforcing compliance with all company policies (GMP/AIB/Safety)
• Perform other duties, as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Must have prior printing experience as either an Operator l or Operator II with related job duties and responsibilities. In-depth understanding of printing concepts Strong mechanical aptitude General math skills Ability to troubleshoot equipment and quality issues Post-secondary education in printing technologies a plus

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis Ability to stand/walk up to 12 hours per shift. Ability to work weekends and holidays. Visual Color Discrimination - the ability to match or detect differences between colors, including shades of colors Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as within a team

Pay:
Up to $35+ dependent on experience

Shifts:
