Our client, an industry leader in pipe fabrication and manufacturing, is seeking a Fabrication Associate to join their team. As a Fabrication Associate, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the pipe fabrication and assembly process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Fabrication Associate

Location: Groveport, OH

Pay Range: $19

Shift: 1st and 2nd

• Move loose or bundled pipe within the shop and yard efficiently and safely
• Assemble pipe orders, including single sticks or bundles, maintaining organized work supplies
• Follow safety precautions during fabrication, cutting, assembling, stacking, and shipping of pipes
• Operate powered industrial equipment according to OSHA guidelines and company procedures
• Set up and maintain machines for pipe fabrication, including measuring, cutting, threading, and beveling

• 6-8 months recent experience with machinery such as pipe threaders, band saws, roll groove machines, plasma cutting, automatic welding machines, and pneumatic banders
• Ability to use and understand tape measures and gauges for quality checks
• Mechanical background or experience with machinery for cutting and threading pipe (training provided)
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Strong math skills for calculating product quantities and measurements
