, the leading manufacturer of railroad wheels in North America, is currently seeking a qualified individual for the position of Afternoon Production Supervisor for our Groveport foundry.
The Production Supervisor is responsible for melting and casting production including mold cleaning/preparation as well as maintenance of equipment. Requires the ability to plan, organize and schedule work to minimize production interruptions and meet department production objectives. Responsible for effective supervision of others, application of company policies and practices, maintaining sound employee relations, resolving employee complaints, maintaining workplace safety and good housekeeping standards.
May perform other duties as required.
This position will require a high school education or equivalent required with additional higher education and training preferred. Must be available to work schedules as required, cross train as required, and be able to display proficiency in the technical aspects of the area assigned and/or successfully complete required tests. Must have a minimum of two years manufacturing experience, prior supervisory experience is preferred.
