PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a motivated Fabrication Associate to support one of the nation's leading distributors of plumbing supplies, PVF, waterworks, fire protection fabrication products, HVAC equipment, and industrial solutions. ** What You'll Do*
* As a Fabrication Associate, you'll play a key role in pipe fabrication operations and material handling activities. Your responsibilities will include:

-Moving loose or bundled pipe throughout the shop and yard

-Assembling customer pipe orders, including individual pipe lengths and bundled materials

-Operating forklifts and powered industrial equipment in accordance with OSHA and company safety standards

-Setting up, operating, and maintaining fabrication equipment

-Measuring, recording, and calculating pipe lengths accurately

-Cutting pipe using band saws, torches, and other fabrication equipment

** Required Qualifications*
* -High School Diploma or GED

-6-8 months of recent experience operating machinery in a manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial setting

- Experience with equipment such as:

-Pipe threaders

-Band saws

-Roll groove machines

-3-6 months of forklift experience

** Preferred Qualifications*
* -6-8 months of fire sprinkler pipe fabrication experience

-Experience in industries such as:

-Auto mechanics

-Diesel mechanics

-Machinery maintenance

-Automotive manufacturing

** Work Environment*
* -Non-climate-controlled fabrication facility

-Work area can become hot during warmer months

-Active industrial setting requiring movement, lifting, and machine operation

** Pay Details:**  $20.00 per hour
