Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a utilities location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service.

Pay Rate: $19.37 / Hour

Job Schedule: Day Time Mon  03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access support activities, and security‑related responses when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual conditions in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report observations through the appropriate chain of command.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout utility‑related buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify potential concerns and policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and document deliveries, visitor activity, and other site‑related information according to posting instructions.
• Support emergency and weather‑related response activities as directed, including communicating important information and helping to maintain orderly site operations during changing conditions.

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
