The Lead Installer is a full-time, hybrid role based in Groveport, OH, with some work-from-home tasks such as documentation and planning. On-site, the Lead Installer oversees and performs installation, replacement, and startup of mechanical systems (including HVAC and related equipment) in commercial and industrial facilities. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing project plans, coordinating materials and equipment, leading installation crews, ensuring work meets safety and quality standards, and troubleshooting system issues as they arise.

The role also involves communicating with customers and internal teams, completing accurate service and installation records, and supporting emergency or urgent service needs as required. The Lead Installer is expected to model professional conduct, mentor less-experienced technicians, and help optimize installation processes and overall service efficiency.

• Demonstrated mechanical installation experience, including HVAC systems, boilers, and related equipment, with strong troubleshooting abilities.
• Knowledge of mechanical codes, safety regulations, and best practices, including safe use of tools, equipment, and personal protective gear.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturer specifications to plan and execute installations accurately.
• Leadership skills to guide installation crews, delegate tasks, provide on-the-job training, and maintain a positive, collaborative work environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills for interacting with clients, coordinating with project managers, and documenting work clearly.
• Solid organizational and time-management abilities to prioritize tasks, meet project deadlines, and respond to routine and emergency service needs.
• Comfort working in a hybrid environment, including on-site field work and remote activities such as reporting, scheduling, and project planning.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites; ability to meet physical demands of the role, such as lifting, climbing, and working in varied environments.
• Relevant technical training or certification in HVAC, mechanical systems, or a related field; prior experience in a lead or senior installer role is preferred.
