Forward Air, Inc. is looking for a self-motivated individual to join the Quality team as a Quality Compliance Analyst. This position is responsible for providing value added service to our customers in addition to supporting local terminal operation through education and auditing to include but not limited to performance statistics, technical support, and quality of service in a timely manner. The successful candidate has the ability to transform complex information into insights that improve service, efficiency, and decision-making.

Core Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Create, analyze, monitor, and distribute metrics/KPI’s to field in conjunction with trend analysis overview
  • Design, oversee, and optimize pipelines that integrate logistics data into unified analytics platforms
  • Lead analytical strategies that convert integrated datasets into actionable insights for research, operational decision support, and precision initiatives
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure alignment between data strategy and organizational goals while clearly communicating results to stakeholders
  • Investigate issues to identify root cause, identify appropriate corrective action, provide recommendation, and ensure resolution with managers
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve traces and assist in prevention of potential lost freight and claims
  • Observe, partner, and learn methods to educate, enhance performance, and recognize performance in our operations, identifying opportunities to increase productivity, ensure safety, maintain compliance to mitigate claims exposure
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Technical or college degree in data gathering/reports or equivalent work experience preferred

Strong work ethic and quality improvement orientation

Ability to carry out assigned task to their completion and meet deadlines

Strong working knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Microsoft office products;
Excel.

Tableau and Oracle applications a plus

  • Collaborative/team player with abilities to create a positive work environment

Prior logistics, inventory, and/or operations experience preferred

  • Strong verbal and personal communication skills

Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ideal candidate will possess a “can do” attitude with a “will do” work ethic
  • Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Strong interpersonal skills: ability to build trust and rapport and effectively communicate with co-workers, employees, and customers
