Forklift Operator -Groveport, OH

Summary

Role focuses on movement of products throughout the warehouse using various types of Material Handling equipment. Requires skills to operate manual handling equipment in accordance with local legislation and an externally accredited qualification/licence.

• Utilize manifest to pull route, stage freight, and assist drivers to load and unload trucks.
• Material handling may include picking, packing, scanning, kitting (as applicable), counting products and other duties.
• Ensure timeliness, packaging, and systems work is completed accurately.
• Identify and annotate overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D).
• Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklift, pallet jacks, etc.
• Read and follow detailed instructions in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ensure safe and secure work environment including TSA and OSHA guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must be Forklift Certified
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred—at least 1 year.
• Must be able to use forklifts, pallet jacks and banding/shrink wrap material.
• Experience using an RF scan gun required.
• Previous forklift certifications preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed and occasional weekends.
• Must be able to read and comprehend work instructions well.
• Must have high attention to detail.
• Must be able to work well with others with little supervision.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs unassisted.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.

This position requires standing and walking for extended periods, frequently stooping, kneeling, crouching, using hands, reaching, bending, and lifting objects above the head. Employees must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds unassisted and use pallet jacks and forklifts.

$21.00 per hour

The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
