Job Summary
Delivers and installs kitchen and laundry appliances using a company‑provided vehicle. Maintains delivery records and provides customer service regarding orders and delivery issues. Operates a company or rental vehicle, monitored by continuous Motor Vehicle Record checks. Requires an acceptable MVR status and a valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications- Prior experience delivering and installing appliances.
- 1+ years operating material handling equipment.
- Experience operating a box truck.
- No more than 2 moving violations or 2 minor accidents in the past 3 years.
- Wholesale distribution experience.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns during delivery and installation.
- Load, transport, and safely deliver kitchen and laundry appliances to customer homes or businesses.
- Install appliances in compliance with manufacturer guidelines, building codes, and safety standards.
- Perform basic connections such as water, electrical, and venting.
- Remove old appliances and dispose of packaging materials as needed.
- Troubleshoot basic installation issues and escalates when necessary.
- Follow planned routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Maintain delivery vehicle and follow safety protocols.
Refers complex, unusual problems to supervisor. Under general supervision, exercises judgement in accordance with well‑defined policies, procedures, and techniques. Work typically reviewed by a senior coworker or supervisor.
Work Environment- Regular exposure to temperature extremes, loud noises, fumes, and moving machinery.
- Intermittent periods of continuous physical exertion such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering heavy or awkward items (50+ lbs).
- Requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
High School Diploma or GED strongly preferred. Specialized skills training or certification may be required. Generally 2‑5 years of experience in the area of responsibility.
PayHourly: $24.00‑$27.60.
