Move vehicles, trailers and flatbeds to and from dock and yard area to assist with loading, unloading and yard utilization;
Manage loading and unloading freight by hand or by using manual equipment such as hand truck or pallet jack or forklift;
Verify and note the count and condition of cargo received, noting when to refuse or accept with notation; record receipts to appropriate forms/log books;
Verify that proper documentation is attached; sort cargo received by account or intended location and store in proper location;
Shuttle empty and full trailers within dock area and parking lots; transport freight from storage dock area or trailers to designated area
