Location: 2842 Spiegel Dr., Groveport, OH 43125
Work Schedule: Friday‑Sunday 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. (C)
Compensation: $20.35 per hour + $1.00 weekend premium

- Loads and unloads trailers
- Opens and closes dock doors
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Sorts and places parts in racks or other designated areas
- Pull manual dock chain
- Stacks cardboard boxes and pallets
- Move materials within the warehouse
- Comply with all safety requirements
- Package or kit finished products for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
- Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system
- Quality control
- Identify and remove damaged products upon receipt
- Complete daily logs
- Communicate with associates from other shifts
- Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information
- Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine assignments and material needs
- Record units handled and moved using daily production sheets or work tickets
- Assemble product containers and crates using hand tools and pre‑cut lumber
- Pack containers and re‑pack damaged containers
- Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
- Sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated rooms
- Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or stock items and distribute them to production or assembly lines
- Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or convey orders to packing station or shipping department
- Weigh or count items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards
- Use computer to enter records
- Prepare parcels for mailing
- Maintain inventory records
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and other warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable)
- Transport stored items from warehouse to plant or pick up items from several locations for shipment (where applicable)
- Complete other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
This position is designated as safety sensitive by the company; the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must accept responsibility for their own safety and the safety of others.
Qualifications- No prior warehouse experience required but preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Proficient reading skills and the ability to follow directions required
- Ability to work independently and provide customer service, handle multi‑tasking, organizational, flexible, excellent with numbers and time‑management skills required
- Flexible to work overtime preferred
- Ability to work in non‑climate‑controlled conditions required
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
- Willingness to work the required schedule and at the specific location
- Complete Penske employment application, submit to background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
- Memorize and understand instructions, guidelines, or other information; must see and verbally communicate; requires close, distance, peripheral, depth vision and ability to adjust focus
- Move frequently, stand, walk, sit; use hands to touch, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms
- Regularly lift or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and occasionally up to 100 lbs (45 kg)
