Distribution CentersWe are hiring full‑time associates for a variety of shifts. Pet Smart offers four 10‑hour weekday shifts and three 12‑hour weekend shifts. Shift differential pay may apply and varies by location.
- Morning Shift Monday – Thursday 5am – 3:30pm
- Afternoon/Evening shift Monday – Thursday 4pm – 2:30am
- Weekend Shift Friday – Sunday 5am – 5:30pm
- Shift differential pay may apply, depending on location.

Distribution Warehouse Material Handler
This role supports the operations team by ensuring the quality and organization of materials in the distribution center.
Responsibilities- Operate Reach Truck to gather, move, and stack pallets to support an efficient and smooth operation.
- Operate Dock Stocker to unload, sort, and track all salvage returns from stores.
- Unload and lay down pallets in reusable condition for order fill processing.
- Move and stack recyclables to support an efficient and smooth operation.
- Remove corrugate, plastic, and debris from breeze ways containers, bins, gay lords, receptacles, docks, and bags to a level that allows additional items to be placed without spillage or run‑over.
- Passion for pets and people and the desire to grow a fulfilling career.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Follow basic instructions and procedures and respond to standard requests which may be written, oral, by headset or walkie‑talkie.
- Ability to bend, twist, stretch, push, pull, carry, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable alternating between standing, sitting, and/or walking for an entire shift (10–12 hours).
- Willing and able to operate powered industrial and mechanical equipment including but not limited to reach truck, stand‑ups, dock stocker, and pushcarts. Proper training and safety standards are provided.
- Work in various temperatures and noise levels.
