Job Overview

Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC is hiring a Forklift Operator with LTL experience to work in Groveport, OH on the 3rd shift (Wednesday–Saturday, 7p.m.–5:30a.m.). The role focuses on moving products throughout the warehouse using material handling equipment and requires a forklift certification.

Operate manual handling equipment in accordance with local legislation. Safely move products, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while following all TSA and OSHA guidelines.

• Use the manifest to pull routes, stage freight, and assist drivers with loading and unloading trucks.
• Perform picking, packing, scanning, kitting, and counting duties as applicable.
• Identify and annotate overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D).
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Read and follow detailed instructions in a fast‑paced environment.
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Forklift Certified.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and using banding/shrink‑wrap material.
• Proficient with RF scan guns.
• Willingness to work overtime, occasional weekends, and shifts requiring weekend availability.
• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Physical ability to lift 50lbs or more unassisted and to perform tasks that require reaching, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
• Speak, read, and write in English.

The position requires standing and walking for extended periods, stooping, kneeling, crouching, using hands, reaching, bending, and lifting objects above the head. Employees must regularly lift and move up to 50pounds unassisted and use pallet jacks and forklifts.

Schedule:

7p.m.–5:30a.m. (Wednesday–Saturday). Pay: $22.00 per hour (anticipated starting salary range; may be adjusted based on market conditions).
