Forklift Operator 3rd shift -Groveport

Summary

This position is a forklift operator with LTL experience located in Groveport, OH. The role focuses on moving products throughout the warehouse using material handling equipment and requires compliance with local legislation and safety regulations.

• Utilize the manifest to pull routes, stage freight, and assist drivers in loading and unloading trucks.
• Perform material handling duties such as picking, packing, scanning, kitting (as applicable), and counting products.
• Ensure timeliness, accurate packaging, and correct system input.
• Identify and annotate overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D).
• Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and related tools.
• Read and follow detailed instructions in a fast‑paced environment.
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment in accordance with TSA and OSHA guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must be forklift certified (VALID OR INVALID).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of prior warehouse experience.
• Proficiency in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, banding, and shrink wrap materials.
• Experience using an RF scan gun required.
• Ability to work overtime and occasional weekends.
• Strong reading and comprehension of work instructions.
• Team‑work orientation with minimal supervision.
• High attention to detail.
• Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs unassisted.
• Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.

Standing, walking and extended periods of activity. Frequently stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, bending and lifting objects above the head and up to 50 lbs unassisted.

3rd shift (4/10) Wednesday–Saturday, 7:00pm – 5:30am. Overnight and weekend availability required. Overtime may be requested.

$22.00 per hour (starting salary range; may be adjusted based on market conditions).
