City of Grover Beach seeks a Police Officer Trainee to begin training under supervision, with enrollment in a California POST-certified academy. Trainees are not sworn and will advance to a probationary Officer after academy completion.
Required are POST standards, a high school diploma or equivalent (an Associate’s degree is desirable), and successful pre-employment checks including background, polygraph, psych eval, agility and medical exams, plus a driver license.
