Qualifications:

• Active LVN/LPN license in California
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric nursing environment highly preferred

• Experience with individualized healthcare plans, medication administration, and emergency response
• Ability to communicate clearly with students, parents, staff, and interdisciplinary teams
• Adaptable, compassionate, and committed to student health and well-being

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care, including routine health checks, medication administration, and first aid
• Support students with chronic conditions or special healthcare needs throughout the ESY program
• Monitor and document student health status and interventions according to school policies
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and coordinate with healthcare providers as needed
• Maintain confidentiality and follow all state and district regulations
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to create a safe and nurturing learning environment
