Job Title

Provide students with appropriate virtual instruction in the subject area assigned to help students fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth.

Education: BA/BS

Experience: ELAR teaching experience preferred

Licenses/Other: Appropriate Texas Certification or such alternatives as may be acceptable to the district. ESL certification or willingness to obtain.

• Design lessons and units with sequential content incorporating a variety of techniques and materials;
• Establish a learning atmosphere which enhances students subject matter competency and student self image;
• Work cooperatively with faculty, staff and administration;
• Work to improve professional competency;
• Communicate high expectations to students and their families and utilizes diverse strategies to engage them in a mutually supportive teaching and learning environment;
• Establish a rapport with parents, students and colleagues, and exhibit knowledge of the content of the subject area assigned;
• Other duties as assigned by the principal.
