Onsite Position
As an Electrical/Electronic Hardware Test Engineer on the Turf & Compact Utility business unit's Product Verification & Validation (PVV) team, located in suburban Augusta (Grovetown), GA, you will:
- Apply engineering rigor in the development & execution of test plans for vehicle electrical systems & electrical/electronic components in the Compact Utility Tractor product domain.
- Collaborate with Deere and external (supplier) subject matter experts to design & execute test plan activities (design analysis, simulation, lab tests, field tests, certification/compliance tests, EMC, etc.) for electrical/electronic components.
- Determine the critical path for risk reduction, identify opportunities/issues, define action plans, and regularly communicate status to stakeholders.

What Skills You Need- 3 or more years demonstrated experience designing, testing, or integrating subsystems/components containing electronics into products that were successfully delivered to production
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills with those inside and outside your department
- Demonstrated skills in design of one or more of the following areas:
Vehicle electrical systems, electronic hardware, battery-electric vehicles, compliance testing - Experience with SAE J1939 CAN analysis tools
- Demonstrated project management skills in planning and managing execution
- 3 or more years of component or product engineering experience for outdoor products and/or mobile equipment, with emphasis on requirements development, design, and validation
- Experience with highly accelerated reliability demonstration and testing to failure (HALT/HASS/CALT)
- Experience with electrical/electronic/electro-mechanical/mechatronic component development and/or validation for automotive or off-highway vehicle applications
- Experience with electromagnetic compliance (EMC) testing/certification at component and/or vehicle level
You will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent experience in a related career field
