Sanitation Operator II

Full Time Manual Labor Main Location, Grovetown, GA, US

Salary Range: $20.00 To $25.00 Annually

About the Role:

The Sanitation Operator II plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the manufacturing facility, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. This position is responsible for executing sanitation procedures that prevent contamination and promote a safe working environment for all employees. The operator will work closely with production teams to schedule and perform cleaning tasks without disrupting operations.

Additionally, the Sanitation Operator II will monitor and document sanitation processes, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the facility. Ultimately, this role is vital in upholding the quality standards of our products and the overall integrity of our manufacturing processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a sanitation or cleaning role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in food safety or sanitation.
  • Experience with chemical handling and safety protocols.
  • Familiarity with quality control processes in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of production equipment, tools, and work areas according to established protocols.
  • Monitor and document sanitation activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with production staff to schedule cleaning tasks that minimize disruption to manufacturing operations.
  • Identify and report any sanitation-related issues or hazards to management for prompt resolution.
  • Participate in training sessions to stay updated on best practices and new sanitation techniques.
