Job Summary
Registered Nurses provide quality nursing services by working with the patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patients' care and by providing a positive, supportive environment. The Registered Nurse is the front-line representative of the patient care team, often serving as the intermediary between the patient and family, the provider(s), and other care team members.
Key responsibilities include participation in performance improvement initiatives; maintaining professional competence; developing others; upholding confidentiality, safety, and professional standards; and supporting Shared Governance through service on councils or sponsored activities.

RN Radiology – Columbia County (Full Time) Core Responsibilities- Patient Care and Care Coordination
Monitors, examines, and evaluates patients' conditions, assists with the care plan, takes appropriate actions to promote short/long-term outcomes and wellbeing, delivers care plan as outlined, collaborating with other staff, prioritizes and coordinates optimal daily patient flow and experience, and maintains documentation.
- Patient Advocacy and Satisfaction
Listens to concerns, probes to understand needs, serves as educational resource for patients and families, communicates necessary information to family and staff, embraces patient- and family-centered care, prioritizes actions based on patient needs, and reports pertinent information confidentially.
- Performance Improvement
Seeks opportunities to improve the work environment and processes, contributes ideas to identify solutions, supports change implementation, and contributes to initiatives that improve patient and staff satisfaction and financial performance.
- Professional Competency and Growth
Maintains professional licenses and certifications, completes required training, identifies and manages development opportunities, participates in professional organizations, stays current with research literature and best practices, and seeks growth and leadership development.
- Professional Leadership
Mentors and precept other nurses, fosters a supportive work environment, adheres to confidentiality and safety standards, embraces shared governance principles, participates in peer feedback, and promotes the nursing profession.

Minimum Education
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse);
Bachelors Nursing – Preferred
- ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ARC-ALS – American Red Cross Advanced Life Support or ACLS-I – ACLS – Instructor or ACLS-P – ACLS– Provisional (within 180 days)
- BLS – Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS – American Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I – Basic Life Support – Instructor
- RN – Registered Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT – RN – Multi-state Compact
PALS – Preferred upon hire.
